Raven  -  Adopted Description: Male long-haired black.  Born around July 20, 2004.  Narrative: Raven was abandoned along with his siblings. He is playful, very curious and makes himself at home on any available lap.  Petting his lustrous fluffy coat is a real pleasure.  Raven is just waiting to be part of your family.

Mandarin -  Adopted 2/19/05 Description: Male short-haired orange tabby.  Born around July 20, 2004.  Narrative: This attractive fellow is playful and full of energy.  He enjoys being petted and would love for you to visit him.  His own home is just what he wants.

Beth -  Adopted 5/7/04 Description:  Female short-haired tortoiseshell with black and orange  markings.  Born around May 15, 2003.  Narrative:  Beth is a black and orange tortoiseshell who was abandoned as a tiny kitten.  She is the quiet type, but enjoys attention.  Beth will make a charming addition to your home.

Daisy  -  Adopted 5/7/04  Description:  Female short-haired calico with black, orange and white markings.  Born around May 15, 2003.  Narrative:  Daisy is a lovely little calico who was abandoned as a tiny kitten. Daisy considers new situations before making a decision. Then she enjoys attention and likes to be petted.  Daisy would like to be part of your home.

SugarBun -  Adopted 3/17/04 Description:  Female short-haired gray tabby with white markings.  Born around July 15, 2003.  Narrative:  SugarBun is a playful kitten who is curious and interested in everything that happens.  In the photo she is grabbing for a gold chain.  SugarBun would like to join a family.

Casey -  Adopted 3/17/04 Description:  Male short-haired black and white.  Born around May 15, 2003.  Narrative: Casey was abandoned as a tiny kitten. He is now the "second cat in command" in his room, deferring only to his somewhat larger brother. He likes attention and was willing to pose with a black and white "friend" in the photo.  Casey will make a delightful companion.

Belle  -  Adopted 2/10/04 Description:  Female short-haired calico with gray, orange and white markings.  Born around May 15, 2003.  Narrative:  Belle is a lovely little orange, white and gray calico who was abandoned as a tiny kitten.  She is quiet, but as you can see from the photo, very alert.  She loves one on one attention from the volunteers.  Belle will make a charming companion.

Snuggles  -  Adopted 2/7/04 Description: Female short-haired black.  Born around May 1, 2003.  Narrative: Snuggles is a cuddly ball of fluff.  She is playful and energetic but also likes to be held.  She purrs with delight when “snuggled”.  She and her two siblings were fostered by a volunteer and received lots of love and attention.  Snuggles would love to share your home.

Addie  -  Adopted 12/24/04 Description: Female long-haired calico.  Born May 3, 2003.  Narrative: Addie is a charming ball of fluff.  She is a little shy, but loves to be petted and sit on laps.  As you can see from the picture, she was not too sure about the basket, but decided to try half of it.  Addie and her four siblings were fostered by a volunteer and received lots of love and attention.  She will be a wonderful addition to your home.

Thomasina  -  Adopted 9/21/02  Description:  Female short-haired calico.  Was born around May 1, 2002.  Narrative:  Thomasina is a charming kitten with beautiful markings.  She enjoys attention!  Being held and petted are tops on her priority list.  She will make someone a fine companion.

Socks  -  Adopted 3/21/02  Description: Female black and white short-haired. Found on July 12, 2001.  Born around  May 15, 2001.  Narrative: Socks is the sister of Mittens, who was brought in by the building inspector on July 6. The inspector said he saw more kittens on the highway. We could not find them, although Anita, several days later, did see one. She tried unsuccessfully to catch her. When she was finally caught, she was starving, living in some construction machinery, and sneezing very often. She was so congested she couldn't smell the food we tried to tempt her with. She is very, very affectionate. She likes to climb up people, wants to be held and petted all the time. She looks for people by the window and started kneading the moment she sees anyone. She is a lap kitten.

Frisky -  Adopted 3/7/02  Description:  Male short-haired tabby with white markings.  Born around July 15, 2001.  Narrative:  This kitten was found running along 13th street and was rescued by a teacher.  He likes to be held and petted.  He is very non-demanding and waits his turn - a very "laid back" affectionate kitten.  Here he enjoys one of the comfortable beds in the Kitten Room.  Frisky has been featured on Channel WTWO.

Bandit  -  Adopted 2/27/02  Description: Male white and gray kitten with  large gray eyes. Brought in July 31, 2001 as a stray by a Harmony Haven member. Born around May 31, 2001. Narrative: He and his sister had been "dumped."  He was very thin when brought in.  Friendly, lap kitten.

Mittens  -  Adopted 2/27/02  Description: Male black and white short-haired.  Brought in July 6, 2001.  Born around May 15, 2001.  Narrative: Mittens was found running across State Road 63. He was extremely hungry and thirsty when first brought in. A very friendly kitten, not shy at all, he loves to play with toy mice. In fact, he growls over them as he carries them in his mouth. He also just loves to chase a ball around a tube. Give him a new toy and he'll be interested in it immediately.  Mittens is the brother of Socks.

Starlight  -  Adopted 2/23/02  Description: Female short-haired, white with light gray streak on top of her head.  Brought in July 3, 2001.  Born around May 10, 2001. She and Wendy are sisters. Narrative: Starlight is very playful and active. She likes to take your finger in her paws and lick it as you rub her tummy. When she came in, she had not been handled much, so she was a little shy. This is now changing since she enjoys being played with, talked to, and petted. On 7-6, she started to sit in one attendant's lap for a long time and has kept doing so ever since. She is now quite the lap kitten. She is pictured enjoying the picture window in the Kitten Room on a sunny day.

Wendy  -  Adopted 2/23/02 Description: Female short-haired, white with dark gray streak on top of her head. Brought in July 3, 2001.  Born around May 10, 2001.  She and Starlight are sisters. Narrative: Wendy is very playful and active. She likes to take your finger in her paws and lick it as you rub her tummy. When she came in, she had not been handled much, so she was a little shy. This is now changing since she enjoys being played with, talked to, and petted.

Candy  -  Adopted 2/7/02 Description: Female gray striped, short-haired tabby with blue eyes. She was brought in on August 2, 2001. She was born about June 5, 2001. Narrative: Candy is completely unafraid of anything. She adapts to any situation faster than any kitten we've seen. She is extremely active, playful and affectionate. She likes people and other cats. She could face down and try to play with a dinosaur.

Sweetie  -  Adopted 1/8/02 Description:  Female short-haired tabby.  Born around July 11, 2001.  Narrative: This beautiful kitten is very friendly and affectionate.  She adjusted quickly and well to her new home at Harmony Haven.  Her name describes her personality.  She enjoys looking out the large window in the Kitten Room as well as climbing on the perches.

Feather  -  Adopted 12/22/01 Description:  Female tortoiseshell. Brought in July 27, 2001.  Born around March 15, 2001. Narrative: She was found by a Harmony Haven member, wet and running in the street near the YMCA.  Feather is very, very playful and affectionate.

Smokey  -  Adopted 10/20/01 Description: Female white and gray kitten with large gray eyes. Brought in July 31, 2001 as a stray by a Harmony Haven member. Born about May 31, 2001. Narrative: She and her brother had been "dumped."  She was very thin when brought in.  Friendly, lap kitten.  She and Callie were adopted by the same family.
